Chen, Jiang is an associate professor of the Department of Electronics, School of EECS, and has been working with the Research Center of Advanced Communications since 2002. He obtained B.Sc. and Ph.D. from Peking University in 1996 and 2002 respectively. His research interests include wireless communication, signal processing, electronic circuits and systems.
Dr. Chen has been devoted mostly to education. He is now offering the following courses:
l Electronic circuits, a compulsory foundation course for sophomores of EE;
l Introduction to microelectronics and circuits, a compulsory course for freshmen of EECS;
l Stochastic process, a compulsory course for graduate of EE;
l Special topics in computer basis, a compulsory course for liberal arts students of PKU;
l Principle of circuit analysis, a mini-class for sophomores of EE;
l Innovation project and practice, an elective course for undergraduate and graduate students of PKU;
l Basis of electronic circuits, a PKU advanced placement course for high school students;
l Electronics and circuits, a compulsory course for undergraduate students of communication major;
l Applied probability theory, a compulsory course for equivalent education level M.E. students of communication major;
l Advanced electronic circuits, a compulsory course for equivalent education level M.E. students of communication major.
He is also active in the area of education technique and methodology, and has been invited to give more than 50 lectures on courseware making in domestic colleges and universities, in recent years.
He won PKU Teaching Excellence Awards twice in 2010 and 2015 respectively, and was voted Top-ten teacher in 2015. Besides, he was voted the Most Influential People of the year by PKU-BBS.
He has been directing students project groups for several years. These groups have won the First Prize in National Undergraduate Electronic Design Contest (Special Topic of Embedded Systems) in 2010, 2012, 2014 respectively, and
He is now in charge of the construction of PKU Geeklab, which will offer programs to encourage and inspire students on campus to be more active in innovation.
He took part in a dozen of research projects and led several of them. Most of the projects were Military 863-projects scoped in wireless communication and special signal processing.
He cooperated with ZTE, and co-host a National Key S&T Special Projects from 2009 to 2011.
He participated in developing and verifying the China National Standard Digital Television Terrestrial Broadcasting(DTTB) in 2006, and became one of the signed drafters.
