HAN, Dedong is an associate professor in the Department of Microelectronics, School of EECS, and has served as vice chairman of the trade union of School of EECS since 2011. He obtained his M.Sc. from Xinjiang Institute of Physics of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2001, and Ph.D. from Peking University in 2010 respectively. His research interests include novel semiconductor materials and devices, novel thin film transistor, transparent and flexible displays.
Dr. Han has published more than 80 research papers applied for more than 40 patents, and most of them are published in famous conferences and journals, such as SID, EDL, TED, and Scientific Reports etc. He has served as Reviewer of ACS, EDL, TED, TNANO, etc. Journal.
Dr. Han has chaired and attended more than ten research projects including NSFC, 973 programs, 863 project, etc. His research achievements are summarized as follows:
1) Study on high K gate dielectric materials: High quality high K gate dielectric materials such as HfO2, Al2O3 etc. have been prepared.
2) Study on Ge-based MOS devices: High performance Ge-based MOS devices have been successfully fabricated.
3) Study on novel thin film transistor: ZnO-based transparent oxide semiconductor material such as In-Ga-Zn-O, Al-Zn-O, Sn-Zn-O, etc. have been intensively studied. Fully transparent high performance thin film transistors have been successfully fabricated.
4) Study on transparent and flexible displays technology: Drive circuits and arrays for transparent and flexible displays technology have been designed and fabricated.
